George joined Gold Investment Management in 2012 and has worked in the investment management industry since 1995.   George’s prior work experience includes Director, Corporate Finance Division, BMO Bank of Montreal; Senior Investment Analyst, Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund Board; Portfolio Manager, London Life Investment Management; and Manager – Corporate Credit, Investment & Corporate Banking, Scotiabank.  Asset classes he has managed include Canadian equities, U.S. equities, public bonds, private placements, syndicated lending and senior bank debt.  George is currently registered as Portfolio Manager & Chief Compliance Officer and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.   He has a B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of British Columbia and a MBA from the University of Toronto.  He also volunteers as a mentor for the University of Alberta’s PRIME investment management program for undergraduates.  He and his wife have 2 children and they call Edmonton home.
