Laveena Sharma joined Gold Investment Management in June 2024 as an Associate in Client Experience and Administration. She was promoted to the position of Analyst in November 2024, reflecting her dedication.

A passionate and driven professional, Laveena has a strong enthusiasm for finance and leadership. Raised in Sint Maarten, she pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is currently advancing her expertise by completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and aims to achieve the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

While at Dalhousie, Laveena demonstrated her leadership capabilities as an Upper Year Mentor and Co-President of the Dalhousie Real Estate Association. These roles enabled her to create supportive networks, foster meaningful relationships, and contribute significantly to student engagement and success. Laveena’s multilingual abilities—fluent in English, Dutch, and Hindi—underscore her cultural diversity and global perspective. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, baking, and painting, and treasures spending quality time with her family and friends.
